Alora byname of Mary Charalambous is a Cypriot born artist. She debuted creating art from a very young age. She created art with any material or pieces she laid her hands on. Growing up in a modest family, she found refuge in her own world to create beauty out of her reality. She attended art school to continue growing in her passion to paint. On her course to explore the outside world, she met Erymanthos, who became a teacher and a guide through unconditional and mutual bond.
She had the gift to paint beautiful religious orthodox byzantine icons and from where her success started. There was a very strong and deep connection created through each icon she painted. That revealed an even further need to go deeper in the metaphysical world. From that point onward, each and every painting created was solely metaphysical.
Connected to the source, where was the birth of Alora’s surreal metaphysics, a new unique form of art. Working with the past, present and future through time and space in on time moment. Knowing that time is
an illusion on the 3rd dimension; it is between dream and reality. She used an allegory language through the dimension of icons. She closed the circle of creation using the 5th element πεμπτουσια through Excee Dance and starting from zero point.
The eternal need to create took Alora further into exploring digital art. Which landed her to a unique and new form of digital art. In parallel; she started exotic dancing and photography. Both which she explored them using a surreal approach.
Alora is an artist that is aligning with her purpose in life. She paints out of deep emotional connections and her extra sensory ability to feel the environment around her, from the visible and non-visible aspect of this reality.
Each painting expresses a metamorphosis voyage in the dimensional realm, where thoughts, consciousness, creations and so much more exists.
Some artists possess abilities which break all the boundaries of what we thought was possible. Whether they use oil or acrylic paints, charcoal or just a plain pencil, they can produce still life images which are literally masterpieces of love.
Alora is one of those artist which persistence and talent, took her further to the love of the art of movement. Alora uses movement and dancing as she pours from her being into the canvas to create a real window into an alternative world, shaped by the vision of the artist.
